Mrs. Long's Summer

This summer was filled with fun activities! Our family visited the Oregon coast and went canoeing in Bend.  We also spent time at the local pools, did lots of arts and crafts, and worked in the garden. A highlight of my summer was a special birthday trip to Mexico with some of my childhood friends. We went snorkeling, parasailing, and witnessed sea turtles laying their eggs in the sand. It was a truly magical experience!

Ms. Moran's Summer Vacation

It has been an amazing and scorching hot summer!  I spent most of the summer working with 3-5 year olds at a Child Development Center in Beaverton.  I also explored Oregon and spent some time visiting my family in Eugene.  I have recently become an aunt for the first time, so I love going to see Adeline.  A highlight of my summer was also the week I spent in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with my boyfriend Nick. We lounged by the pool, swam through a cave on an island to visit a hidden beach, and paddle boarded in the ocean.

It has been a fun and exciting Summer!  We have explored Oregon and all it has to offer!  Some of our favorite outings included kayaking at Elk Lake and Trillium Lake, biking in Central Oregon, playing in the sand at the beach and visiting with our cousins who were here for the summer from China and Costa Rica.  After all of our adventures, we are getting ready to settle into the excitement and routine of the new school year and enjoy the beautiful Fall in Portland!

Mrs. Buckner's Summer Vacation

I love summer!  My husband is a teacher too so we are able to spend lots of time with our boys Bobby and Henry.  We like to spend time outside hiking, playing in the water and camping.  In June we went on a camping trip to Timothy Lake.  It was a beautiful place to camp and my boys had a blast playing in the water and catching trout.
